Meet the team

 I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist since May 2001, when I earned my degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. I am board – certified to work in both Kentucky and Indiana. My husband, Chris, and I have two sons who are the light of our lives. I have many hobbies but at the top of my list is definitely shopping and spending time with my family. As I began college, I declared my major as nursing, but wasn’t satisfied with my decision. After realizing my obsession for teeth, switching from nursing to dental hygiene was a positive career move. The natural blend of those two medical professions were great for me. The biggest reward of my job is the that I get to work with people and practice what I truly enjoy. I always look forward to seeing my patients and helping them achieve the smile they are proud of. 

I am a 2005 graduate of the Academy of Dental Assisting where I earned my degree as a dental assistant. I joined Dr. Durbin’s team in January 2005. I graduated from the University of Louisville’s Expanded Duties Dental Assisting program. I have been happily married to my husband and best friend since August 2005, and we have two wonderful kids. 

I have worked in healthcare since 1999. I switched from nursing/medical to dental in 2006. I love helping patients achieve a smile they are proud of and one that gives them confidence that they've been searching for. I've been married for 20 years and have 3 amazing sons. I love coming to a job everyday that doesn't feel like work, the atmosphere and my peers make it feel just like "Home".  I'm the first person our patients talk to and see as they enter our office, I make sure they leave here feeling at ease and that they've had the best experience they can possibly have.
